List of wine-producing countries

The following is a list of the top 35 wine-producing countries and their volume of wine production for the year 2009 in metric tonnes. Data is reported from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), which is an agency of the United Nations. Their data show a total worldwide production of 27,220,713 tonnes of wine with the top ten producing countries accounting for over 80% of that total.[1]
